A new version of WGiBeat, an XNA-based rhythm game based primarily on Audition, has been released. Main new features include a brand new Groove Momentum system exclusively for Coop mode, support for menu sound effects, and several minor tweaks to animations, note bars, blazing mode and the Song Select screen.

K-Pop Music Pack 1 for Beginners

These later years, I've been working on K-Pop songs for Stepmania, made for dance-pad play. This video previews some of these charts that were made focused on performance and fun instead of keyboard play. These easy levels patterns have been applied to new players in order to teach them how to play Dance games. With a new year comes a new release of StepMania 5. This release marks the first of the alpha releases, with the eventual goal being a final release of StepMania 5.0 before the end of 2012.

 Lucky Date - Ho's & Disco's (Space Laces Remix) / 128BPM - dance singles: 14+15 / 17+18 - pump singles: 14+15 / 18+19 click on the banner to download! have a video too! I included only the .ssc file for a reason. you have no reason to be using sm3.9 by now. straight from the video description.
how this works is that for each chart there are two difficulties, one with all the gimmicks (speed/scroll changes + mod attacks) and one without the gimmicks (only warps are used, no speed changes). there are two sets of charts for each gametype. this is the difficulty list:
- dance (X-scale) 14/15 - 17/18 - pump (traditional scale) 14/15 - 18/19 (i'm not used to pump rating so excuse me if the ratings are off :x ) playing the charts with only speed changes and no mod attacks is possible by playing the gimmick chart by turning attacks off in the options menu. it is not preferred to use a cmod as several warp gimmicks are used in all charts and it might get confusing. it is advisable to use a speed mod of 3x on dance, and 2.5x on pump. anything faster and it gets hard. |

In 2012, we will start releasing alpha versions of StepMania 5, beginning with alpha 1. Our goal for this year is to get StepMania 5.0 final released. We do have a lot of things to fix, though, so we could use all the help we can get. We're still looking for translations into other languages. To celebrate its 7-year anniversary (June 24, 2004 ~ June 24, 2011), DWI Extreme has released the ITG2 R21 version of the classic 37-minute megamix simfile "hed kandi - Swing City Miami (Friday)" on June 24, 2011. This demonstrates the split timing support that will be available in StepMania 5 Preview 1. (kudos to Wolfman2000 and theDtTvB!) Split charts can already be saved, loaded, and edited, as well as played. Work still needs to be done, however. (AutoPlay and AutoSync need work)
