This release is based on older, more stable code and is intended to address the biggest pain points as quickly as possible:
- Make uploading and downloading of songs, themes, noteskins, and announcers easier and work cross-platform.
- Fix very bad 3.9 bugs, like rolls crashes and Vista compatibility problems.

I've been finishing a new in-game download system. The goal is to:
- Have as few user clicks as possible to install a package (or many packages)
- Have one cross-platform method of installing packages

The new file association - .smxml - contains control data that StepMania will use on launch. The file format currently supports one or more packages to install.

Why have code in-game file transfer?
